The Rio Rico branch of the Nogales-Santa Cruz County Public Library is available to the Rio Rico community with multiple resources for everyone to enjoy. There are many books - from best-sellers to informational topics such as: computing, cooking, health, home and garden, history, language, self-help, etc. to dictionaries, magazines and newspapers.
Computers provide access to the Internet and to word-processing programs such as Word, MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
If you are interested in bringing your children, we have story time on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. for youngsters to delight in the readings and activities offered by our volunteers Irene and Michelle.
Our library serves as proctor for students taking home and Internet courses, so they may take their required tests in the designated areas. We are also authorized to perform the Internet Traffic School Exam.
For more information, call (520) 281-8067. Library hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday (Closed from 1 to 1:30 p.m. for lunch break). We are closed Saturdays for the summer.
If you are interested in helping at the Rio Rico Library, please call Library Director Suzanne Haddock at (520) 285-5710 or Mirna Navarro at (520) 285-5711.
